Sydney is an accomplished senior executive and Information Technology specialist with more than forty years of success in financial services and engineering companies.
He has extensive experience in strategic leadership for a number of leading financial institutions. His broad areas of expertise include information technology strategy and implementation, infrastructure and operations, risk management, information security, business resiliency / disaster recovery and use of technology to drive business strategy. He has been known to deliver modernized global infrastructure capabilities to support the growth of the business while effectively managing the return on the investment.
Throughout his executive career, Sydney has held senior leadership positions with Unum, Fannie Mae, TD Ameritrade, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Fleet Bank, Prudential Financial, Bankers Trust Co. and Citigroup.
He currently serves as the Secretary of Board and a member of the executive committee for the non-profit The Enterprise Center in Chattanooga, which has been nationally recognized for creating an Innovation district with the aim of gaining a foothold in the digital economy.
