About Rich

Rich is an accomplished senior executive with thirty-five years of IT leadership experience in a range of domains, including enterprise networks, traditional compute, information security, identity management, and most recently, cloud computing. He has worked in a variety of industries including semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Rich’s career at BMS spanned nearly three decades and included a number of high-visibility leadership roles.

Rich began his career with a seven-year tenure at RCA Solid State Division. In 1990, Rich joined BMS and spent his twenty-nine-year career within BMS’ Information Technology group. Rich’s leadership roles at BMS include Director, Global Network Services, Director, Infrastructure Engineering Services, and, Senior Director, Cloud Computing and DevOps.

Rich uses his expertise in technology to support the community in a number of ways, including as a volunteer for the Radio Amateur Satellite Corp (AMSAT), and over four decades as a volunteer providing technical support for the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
