Alex is an accomplished IT leader with over thirty years of direct experience in a wide range of domains including large enterprise networks, unified communications, operations, education, and financials. Over his career, he has been awarded expert level certifications from Microsoft, Cisco Systems, and ISC2.
Alex has held leadership and architect positions at a wide range of customers including Assurant Group, The Signature Group, and Miami International Airport. In addition, as Director of Telecommunications & Networking Services at TelevisaUnivision, Alex led the vision and teams responsible for data networking, infrastructure security, cloud, unified communications, and telecom expense management. Alex designed, delivered, and operated many complex solutions in support of business growth, transformation, and savings including on-air broadcast systems, remote editing, production, partner connectivity, and streaming.
In addition, Alex has many years delivering networking and systems courses at Miami Dade College, Tech Data, and Broward College. As a founding partner at XIOM, Alex currently provides advisory services and project delivery.
